What a sweet boy our Tucker is--#42..."Grandma - It looks like I'll be going a little sooner than we thought!"  He is hugely excited about the new age policy for missionaries!  We are so thankful that his elbow is healing..it looks like they have it taped up pretty good...thanks, coaches..his dad and grandpa have him carrying around a weight to help strengthen that arm...anything for the game, right?

This was fun and really good..."Dutch Babies"

Whisk 3 eggs until frothy; whisk in 3/4 cup each of milk and flour.  Add 1/2 tsp vanilla and a dash of salt.  Peel, core and slice 1 apple; cook in an ovenproof 10 inch skillet with 3 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon sugar until just soft.  Add the batter and bake at 450' until puffy and golden, 15 minutes.  (we served with Buttermilk Syrup from Our Best Bites..YUM)

Jared is a successful hunter!   Big Bull Elk!  (It's a good thing the weather was just lovely, because as much as I love Jared - there is no way this was taking place in the house..)

85 pints of "isn't that meat so pretty..."
hummmm...perhaps the chipmunks have moved on - from our strawberry patch...
