Grandpa says we will only enjoy these beauties a few more days.  The "turtle pot" is just gorgeous this year....It took 3 guys and a backhoe to get it here from the Bassett's a few years ago...I'm trying to figure a way to get it down to the Valley for the winter....I think I'm dreaming...Oh, well...next summer I'll plant it again.  Maybe I'll just dig out the geraniums and bring them in the house for the winter...that's an idea...thanks!!

We seem to have a "bumper crop" of these little guys this year.  I see them all around the yard.  One even came in the sun-room for a visit the other day....stayed for a short while and then went back outside....( I hope he doesn't tell his friends!)

Grandpa using the carpet cleaner....yea....I was fixing dinner.  We had a really good "Chicken Tortellini Soup" from:  

myrecipegarden.blogspot.com  (Grandpa says, "The boys will think I'm hen-pecked!)  I've tried several recipes from here and they have been good.  There are two from Mimi's Cafe that we especially like:  The carrot- raisan- nut loaf and the buttermilk spice muffins.  

This is the extent of the apple harvest....we did get the one before the birds completely ate it!  Now I need to make a PIE.

Draper Utah Temple....Very Beautiful - Very High on a hill...We think you could see three other Temples from this site...Oquirrah Mountain, Jordon River and Salt Lake - on a clear day.
