It's a happy birthday-spring break celebration.  Lots and lots of thanks to the girls and their husbands and children for making this a memorable celebration.  On Wednesday, the 16th, the spring break kids arrived and we had a birthday dinner.  Grandpa with his "boys", Tucker and Tarrik.  (They promptly left to go fishing after they dug worms from the worm bed.)
Grandpa opening the beautiful wedding album that the girls put together.  Thanks, Michon, Tonya, Carrie and Natalie for all your work.  There was also a CD of our wedding photos and family photos, a wedding video and a framed photo from our wedding day that we will hang up very soon.
Going for a walk.....

Auntie has a new puppy....Missy Moo..she is darling...she loves playing with the girls...

Oh, boy....what are you up to now!!!!   Michon just about broke Grandpa's leg getting to the refrigerator outside ahead of him...we couldn't figure out why everyone was so anxious to get items out of the 'frig and not let us get them....hummmmm...Thursday evening Grandpa opened the door to lots of company...wondering what in the world they were coming for....well, it was a surprise birthday party for us.  This beautiful cake was in the 'frig outside and we weren't supposed to see it.  (I knew those girls were up to something!!!)
Grandma and Grandpa blowing out the candles....
Giggly little grands...after they brought up lots of balloons and surprised Grandma and Grandpa with the party...

This photo is of Aunt Wilma and Grandpa...Grandpa says that they had been taking some banty chickens down to Aunt Prudy and they had gotten out of the cages in Salt River Canyon...the kids and the adults had chased those chickens all over for hours so no one was in a very good mood...Cute..

All the girls:  Aunt Donna in the back.  Aunt Dixie holding Aunt Wilma, Aunt Janet and Aunt Sandra in the middle.  Aunt Edie in the front.

Not sure on this one...I think this may be the school class of Aunt Verda.  (Top right-with the dark hair)
Here are some more of the photos:  This one is of Grandma Neff with her 11 children...Grandpa would be the little baby in her arms.

This is the photo of the girls after Grandma Neff's funeral service.  Aunt Donna and Aunt Dixie in the back and Aunt Janet, Aunt Sandra and Aunt Edie in the front.

Our beautiful Snowflake, Arizona Temple....Grandpa and I have had a very nice experience serving as Ordinance Workers in the Temple.  Last Saturday was a very special day.  Grandpa was assigned to Officiate in the Special Session at 11:15 a.m. and Grandma was assigned to Follow in that same session.  As it turns out, this was the first time in the history of the Snowflake Temple that two "Children of Lehi" sessions were held on the same day.  The regular Navajo session was held at 10:00 a.m. for the Saints from Ganado and then the special session was held after that one for the Hopi Saints from Polacca.  Two sweet Hopi sisters were receiving their own Endowments in that session.  It is a great blessing in our lives to be able to participate in these rare and special events.
