It's a happy birthday-spring break celebration. Lots and lots of thanks to the girls and their husbands and children for making this a memorable celebration. On Wednesday, the 16th, the spring break kids arrived and we had a birthday dinner. Grandpa with his "boys", Tucker and Tarrik. (They promptly left to go fishing after they dug worms from the worm bed.)
Grandpa opening the beautiful wedding album that the girls put together. Thanks, Michon, Tonya, Carrie and Natalie for all your work. There was also a CD of our wedding photos and family photos, a wedding video and a framed photo from our wedding day that we will hang up very soon. Going for a walk.....
Auntie has a new puppy....Missy Moo..she is darling...she loves playing with the girls...
Oh, boy....what are you up to now!!!! Michon just about broke Grandpa's leg getting to the refrigerator outside ahead of him...we couldn't figure out why everyone was so anxious to get items out of the 'frig and not let us get them....hummmmm...Thursday evening Grandpa opened the door to lots of company...wondering what in the world they were coming for....well, it was a surprise birthday party for us. This beautiful cake was in the 'frig outside and we weren't supposed to see it. (I knew those girls were up to something!!!)
Grandma and Grandpa blowing out the candles....
Giggly little grands...after they brought up lots of balloons and surprised Grandma and Grandpa with the party...
Eating cake on Grandpa's "Pride Rock." (Peanut, Talya, Ella, Naia, Ellie, and Trinley)
Grandma and Grandpa with the little Grand-daughters...
Could it possibly be spring?...well, the wind is blowing, and the daffodils are blooming...so - maybe!!!
