Naia's school project is a report on the barrel cactus.  They made this replica out of crepe paper and it really is quite beautiful!!  She produced a little 3 min. movie also. Great Job, Naia!!

 Jade's project was to do a report and a poster about someone she admired.  Jade enjoys reading the Harry Poter books so she chose J.K. Rowling, the author.  Great!!

I spotted a little dab of color in the yard and "what to my wondering eyes should appear?"

 Inside blooms really beautiful....

No lights on at the dealerships...the Hatch boys have closed the doors for a couple of days as they grapple with the lost of their parents, Ruth and Gerald, and the serious injury of their brother, Robb and his wife Kelly.  There is a huge empty spot in our communities as we miss these good people.  Grandpa, especially feels the loss as he has been on the phone several times a day with Ruth during the addition to and remodel of their home and with the remodel of the dealership in Show Low.  That job was just finished last Wednesday.  Ruth told us that they were going to be out of town, but would be back on Tuesday and we would get everything finished up...When we went past their home early Saturday morning on our way to the Temple (4:45 a.m.) we both said, "Why are the lights on in Gerald and Ruth's home - I thought they were out of town...."  Little did we know that they were just getting ready to leave and it would only be a short time until we got the call at the Temple  that the accident had occured and we had lost some of our friends.  

The Hatch family has taken some hard "blows" this past 7 or 8 months with the sudden passing of our dear Ben on June 27th - then not a month ago, Phil was taken in a strange twist and now Gerald and Ruth.  Somehow we are comforted by our testimonies, hope, and prayer...Now our thoughts and prayers for comfort are for the children, grands and especially Robb and Kelly who are going to have a long go at recovery.

Happy, happy birthday, Tucker, Dear---Happy days will come to you all year...If we had one wish then it would be....A Happy, Happy Birthday to you from Grandma and Grandpa!!!

17 years old today---having pizza and wings for his birthday dinner!!
