Little Ella called this morning worrying about Grandpa and Grandma's weather...a little rain and a little snow, but mostly just a dreary day..Thanks for thinking of us, Ella!!! Grandma is going to put on a pot of ham and white beans..perhaps some rolls or corn bread, too.

African Violets, inside, Crocus blooms, outside, and the most lovely Orchids, inside. The violets and the orchids will be fine, but I'm a little concerned about the blooms outside. They could get their noses nipped.......

Happy Birthday, Tucker!!! We are so happy to be able to know you...(Tucker just came to live with Ty and Tonya this school year...and has been so fun...) We just had a phone call that he won his first match at the State Wrestling Tournament...CONGRATULATIONS. This is excellent for a Freshman!!!~! (Grandpa loves having a grandson in wrestling...it brings back some fun memories!)

And Happy Birthday to Tiffani also. We hope all is well in N.C. for you-- the weather reports are not pretty for that area. Grandpa and Grandma send lots of good wishes your way!!

Not a very good picture through the glass going 65 mph, but really pretty with the snow on the tops of the mountains and the green desert below.
Lots of snow on the way to the Valley...In some places it was like driving in a tunnel...snow on both sides of the road was very deep.
