Grandpa to the rescue.....
Jade's excellent adventure....the toy is in the rain gutter...she's trying to be brave, but it's really HARD!!!
Grandpa----you can't see the big smile, but he's off on the annual hunting trip with the family....the boys in the family that is.  The pick-up is full of food and the 4-wheelers are attached...could they ask for anything more...oh, maybe a successful hunt, but not absolutely necessary...just the tromping around in the woods is great they say.
Cam is Citizen of the Week!!! Good Job!!!!
What a great little guy!!!  I went over for dinner last night and stayed while the parents went for their Temple Recommend interviews...We were watching "The Santa Clause.."  (it's a little early, but they had been to Lowe's and guess what....Christmas decorations greeted them at the door).

Grandma said, "Is everyone comfy?"

Cam and Reese snuggled a little closer and said, "Yes."

Mylee snuggled a little closer and said, "You're happy because you have all your little children around you, huh, Grandma."  Out of the mouth of babes.......

Banana Carrot Bread - Sister Clark, Palmyra, N.Y.

350 degree oven for about 40 minutes
makes 2 loaves-test with knife (or tester) for doneness.

Combine in large bowl:

2 c. flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts (optional)

Combine in medium bowl:

1/2 c. oil
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 med.)
1 cup grated carrot
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix wet ingredients with dry stirring only until combined.  Pour into generously greased pans.
Let cool completely before removing from pans.

I made a cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar spread...the regular banana bread recipe calls for more banana than this and since I only had 2 bananas I thought I'd try this and it may become the new favorite...Hope you like it.
Nat:  here is the quilt Aunt Lorraine just quilted for me....The colors are...amazingly...the same as the tea set I have from the Missouri adventure.  Lorraine does a great job!!!!

Getting a little advice from Coach Dad.

GOOOOO  RATTLERS!!!!
#82----Mr. Man---3 touchdowns in the game Saturday!!!!!  Good Job!!!!  More photos at www.styfl.com----We can't figure out how to download their photos...There is a little slide show that shows Tarrik giving a high-five to his teammate and then two other showing his touchdown runs....
Only 12 quarts of grape juice this year.  The vines got "jack frosted"  too many times this spring.
Spaghetti Sauce.....Grandpa says we should have a five year supply with this much.  5 quarts and 22 pints....I think it will be good in beans and soup as well.
Grandpa has been raising some tomatoes this year that would make Martha proud.  These beauties are ready to go into the pot for juice.  The yellow ones have been especially sweet this year....they do make kind of a peek-ed juice though....We usually just eat them.
