A fishing trip to Reservation Lake.  At the top of the photo is where we parked and then we walked clear around the lake to this favorite camping place to meet Uncle Ty and the girls.  They spotted us about the time we got straight across from them.
 Trinley
Tyanne - getting a minnow on the hook.....
Uncle Ty and Grandpa were kept hoppin' getting all the lines ready...the fish were really easy to catch.

 Cam ready to get one...
 Mylee's first catch...
Talya has good old "pinkie" in the water--and she was catching them, too.

 Ali gets one....

Abby catches a pretty good sized one...

Reese has one on the line...
 Cam catches one...
 Reese....

Cam is such a great helper...Grandpa's truck gets CLEAN!!!
Someone dropped off 3 (yep, count 'em--three) kittens ...Spices, Nutmeg, and Zebra...of course, they are all female....oh, brother, what to do now.....

Cats and kids climbing in the apple trees.
Oh, and by the way...the apples are done.  I wish I would have taken a picture of the dried ones Carrie did...She sprinkled Jell-o powder on them and they were beautiful and delicious.  We got 31 more quarts of juice and 4 more pies in the freezer.

What a sweet boy our Tucker is--#42..."Grandma - It looks like I'll be going a little sooner than we thought!"  He is hugely excited about the new age policy for missionaries!  We are so thankful that his elbow is healing..it looks like they have it taped up pretty good...thanks, coaches..his dad and grandpa have him carrying around a weight to help strengthen that arm...anything for the game, right?

This was fun and really good..."Dutch Babies"

Whisk 3 eggs until frothy; whisk in 3/4 cup each of milk and flour.  Add 1/2 tsp vanilla and a dash of salt.  Peel, core and slice 1 apple; cook in an ovenproof 10 inch skillet with 3 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon sugar until just soft.  Add the batter and bake at 450' until puffy and golden, 15 minutes.  (we served with Buttermilk Syrup from Our Best Bites..YUM)

Jared is a successful hunter!   Big Bull Elk!  (It's a good thing the weather was just lovely, because as much as I love Jared - there is no way this was taking place in the house..)

85 pints of "isn't that meat so pretty..."
hummmm...perhaps the chipmunks have moved on - from our strawberry patch...

And The Fun You'll Have There!!

Crossing the river into California - On to DISNEYLAND!!

We hadn't been there for 10 minutes when we were greeted by this friendly guy..

Waiting to see the fairies...

This is super short video but so fun..Ellie thought this ride was great!

On the way home, we stopped at the beach - it was perfect weather for digging in the sand and building a castle.
