Orchids in January....what a treat!!!!  (Don't tell me you can't raise orchids in Arizona...)  I guess I needed some "pretty" to cheer me up after our sadness of losing "Girl" during her surgery.  We miss her a bunch...she was such a nice little dog.

TARRIK.....you're our HERO!!!!  Good job on the Pinewood Derby.  Good Job!!!!

Grandma was working on the new baby Allred's quilt with the help of Jade and Naia...They plotted and planned with the scraps and each have a little fabric puzzle...They want grandma to sew them together...but then they won't be puzzles---they will be little QUILTS.

And the WINNERS are the ARIZONA CARDINALS.....how about them apples? (All the sportscasters, pounding each other on the back saying,  "Can you believe this, can you believe this.")

We are happy to be tending the Baum's little pooch, Girl.  She is such a sweet and gentle little dog.  Jade, Naia and Ella "just love her."  The Baum's have moved to Vernal just down the street from Carrie and family and couldn't take "Girl" with them right now.  Naia knows "Girl" very well having been in Play Group with Noah.

Ladies from Quilting Group.  Lucille, Barbara, Me, Nadene and Ilona...This is the "snik and snak" after Barbara's baptism.  It was lovely....

It's cold and snowy...but very calm and beautiful.  We aren't snowed in, but a "delayed start" at school today.

Big Ole Bad Boy, Mr. Sully

And the WINNERS are the ARIZONA CARDINALS.......

To celebrate:  Lemon Cream Pie....(Thanks to Uncle Ty and his gift of fresh lemons.)

Naia and Jade with their giraffe made from the big lego blocks.

Ella with Grandpa...a beautiful castle made from the big lego blocks.

Jade announcing the half-time concert:  Naia playing the B-tone, A-tone, and G-tone on the recorder - Jade playing "Mary Had A Little Lamb."  It was a wonderful half-time with talented performers.

Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons....so far so good.
