On Tuesday we went down to pick up some trim for the pantry cabinet in the kitchen and finish up the paper work with Donnie for the insurance company.  Donnie has quite a little "zoo" of pheasants in his yard.  This one is so pretty - "golden pheasant."  They are a very "pleasant" bird.  Grandpa says there used to be quite a few in Shumway - hope they can be re-introduced here again soon.

At lunch time we meet Aunt Natalie and the little girls at the mall for lunch.  Neither one of them was particularly interest in becoming friends with the "eat more chicken" cow.... Haylee...

McKinley - nothin' doin'   ....

McKinley getting a ride on Grandpa's shoulders....she loved it!
Coming home the fog was quite thick in the Canyon...A little snow about 20 miles south of Show Low and the streets in town were "ugly" but not much snow here.....

 Near Forest Dale.....
I have to laugh....Uncle Mike takes great photos of deer in their yard....We take bad photos of cows in ours.....hee hee....
Trim around of pantry cabinet....so pretty....
Dining room table.....Grandpa finally gets  a  BIG one....
Can we get this through the door?
Yep....and the chairs too.  (Ella was taking photos - 65 of them...)
Blurry - getting a little dust off.
Uncle Dave getting his new gun sited-in.
Not much for us to do but play with the phone....
Ella gets a lesson in safety and then a shot.
Naia did not want to shoot, but she was brave and closed her eyes, turned her head and took a shot!
Jade get to take a turn....
Aunt Michon was too thrilled either....
 Grandpa gets a bulls-eye....
So pleased----two more chairs coming in a couple of weeks...
We are so thankful to have our home back together again.  Our hearts really are here!  What a blessing to have had good insurance and Grandpa to build, fix and repair everything!  We are so blessed!   Daughters, Sons in law, and our fabulous Grands and our Home! We are so BLESSED!

This has been a little bit of a tough week...lots of messes and lots of work.  Did get a little break while unloading the storage container by watching 2 bucks and 1 little doe nearby.  Can't see the horns on this guy, but they were pretty big..they stayed around for about 3 hours and then got scared and ran over the hill.  Nice little diversion from the work - for sure...
Monday and Tuesday were carpet days - the living room - almost back to "normal" - It's kind of like we live in someone else's home and once in a while we find something or see something that is familiar...hee hee....
Saturday was furniture day - this was such a relief to have the storage container empty and be able to get the furniture and beds.
 Family room furniture...

We are so thankful to have things back in order again - the beds aren't all made up, but the mattress pads, sheets and quilts are on the right beds - we think....

Going through this mess has certainly had it's challenges, but we have practically refurbished our entire home and we are truly thankful!  A few little odds and ends here and there, but we are about to win!
