Our Best Bites has a Refrigerator Dill Pickle Recipe that we thought we'd try.  

So far it's a success.....Grandpa says they taste just like the ones his Dad would make when they were kids....in a big barrell they kept out by the back door.  They would peel back the gunny sack cover (and the scum---eeekkk), reach down in a get a pickle.  (Perhaps our method is a little more refinded...or something.)

 The corn crop was a little skimpy this year because of that late frost.  We only got 15 bags for the freezor, but it is delish!!!

 Yep, its probably a season ending injury...dislocated elbow, plus some torn ligaments and possibly some other bone chips, etc...

 Trinley wanted s-mores, so that's what we had...yum
