Such a happy weekend for a special little girl!!  Naia was baptized and confirmed on Saturday by her daddy.  What a blessing it is for Grandpa and I to have such great sons-in-law - that have the authority to bless their families!!  (Thanks, Dave - Great Job!!)  And isn't Naia such a beauty.......

Just a little treat.....chocolate sauce and carmel sauce from the "Our Best Bites"-Mormon Moms in the kitchen cookbook....Super easy and quite good.....just a fun book!! (you should get it!!)
Delicious for a Sunday Evening Treat - Banana splits....

      Hot Fudge Sauce  pg. 252
        1/2 cup choc. chips
        1 can sweetened condensed milk
        1/4 cup butter
In a small saucepan, heat the butter and condensed milk...add choc. chips and stir 'til smooth.

      Buttermilk Caramel Syrup pg. 70
3/4 cup buttermilk          2 tbls. corn syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar             1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup real butter          1 tsp. vanilla
Combine buttermilk, sugar, butter, corn syrup, and baking soda in a 4-quart pan.  (it puffs up alot
because of the soda.)  Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to low - keep it boiling-and cook
stirring frequently for 7-9 minutes or until a rich golden brown.  remove from heat and add
            vanilla.
