Remember that time we took the "shortcut" to Mesa through Young...I think you girls were screaming the entire way. The road, at times, is precariously on the edge of a cliff...straight down and a long ways down! It really is beautiful country. We went this time to a wedding reception for our dear friends, the Hatchs, daughter and her new husband. They were married in the Mesa Temple a week or so ago. It was lots of fun to catch up a little with them and their family. Wendy and David had a delicious dinner prepared--(Grandpa loved the chocolate fountain and the fruit) and wonderful cake for dessert. David has recently been called as the Branch President in Young.
